THREE FPC Clients to Pitch to Silicon Valley Investors

It is no secret that Madison is known for it’s start up businesses and ventures, but when three of our VERY OWN  Fine Point clients have been chosen to join a Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce-sponsored trip to San Francisco Bay area next week to pitch to potential investors, we here at Fine Point get a little bit ecstatic.

EatStreet, Propeller Health, and Fishidy have all been chosen to pitch in front of the Silicon Valley Investors next week in hopes of gaining interest and opening new doors for their companies.

  • EatStreet is a Madison food delivery app that offers a free online ordering service that connects you with your favorite foods from a wide variety of great Madison-local restaurants.
  • Propeller Health offers wireless sensors that monitor asthma attacks along with keeping track of your medication intake to the time and location of your last inhaler use.  The sensor is a small device that attaches to the top of your existing inhaler and stays out of your way when you need to use it. The objective data it collects, and the feedback you get as a result, can help you better understand and manage your asthma or COPD.
  • Fishidy is unlike any other fishing resource – it’s a map-based, fishing social network for fishing gurus. It offers valuable fishing tips and information, along with access to over 8,000 mapped waterways across the U.S. and allows online fishing communities to share their successes, favorite spots, and learn from one another at the click of a button.

The Bay area visit next Tuesday and Wednesday includes a tour of the Facebook campus, which is owned by the State of Wisconsin Investment Board.

It also will feature a networking reception sponsored by the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation with about 100 people — investors, entrepreneurs, and other business leaders, some of whom have ties to the Madison area.

“There is a remarkable story unfolding in Greater Madison, and we are looking forward to sharing it in Silicon Valley,” said Chamber president Zach Brandon.

Best of Luck to EatStreet, Propeller Health, Fishidy, and the other two business ventures as they head out West next week!  You have already made the Fine Point Team Proud!
